Rohnert Park, Sonoma County
Rohnert Park was built on the seed farm of the Rohnert family and incorporated in 1962, a planned city modeled on Levittown. Its neighborhoods were laid out as lettered sections, each with its own school, park and pool, and the street names in each section begin with the section letter. The slogan from its early years was The Friendly City.
